Kollam: A 21-year-old woman was found dead at the residence of her live-in partner in Kollam on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Anjana Satheesh, a native of Karalikkonam. She was found hanging inside a bedroom at the house of her partner, Nihas. Although she was rushed to the Kadakkal Taluk Hospital, she could not be saved.

Anjana and Nihas had been in a live-in relationship for the past six months. Nihas, also a native of Karalikkonam, works as a conductor on a private bus. Earlier, following a complaint from her family, Anjana was produced before a court, where she stated that she wished to continue living with her partner. Based on her testimony, the two began living together.
