Kannur: Amid controversies regarding the alleged procedural lapses when convicts were seen drinking at a bar, and the sensational Govindachamy jailbreak, Kerala State Police Chief Ravada A Chandrasekhar has convened a meeting of senior police officers in Kannur district on Tuesday afternoon. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 2 pm at the office of the district police commissioner.
Ravada's visit comes in the wake of reports alleging that TP Chandrasekharan murder case convicts Kodi Suni, Muhammad Shafi, and Shinoj were spotted at a bar while being escorted to the Thalassery Additional District Court for a hearing in the Mahe double murder case.
