Poor mobile network disrupts digital survey in Kozhikode’s Kanthalad village

Balussery: With no network coverage available, digital survey work has come to a halt in several parts of Kanthalad village. Survey activities remain incomplete in areas such as Thalayadu, Padikkal Vayal, Cheedikkuzhy, and Kavumpuram.
Residents are now demanding that the survey be completed at the earliest, as the delay in assigning proper survey numbers to land already in their possession is causing serious setbacks.
Currently, mobile network coverage is available only in limited parts of Kanthalad. The absence of signal is also creating additional problems, particularly for online transactions, which have been severely disrupted.
Local residents have submitted a memorandum to the MLA, urging action to resolve the network issues in the hilly areas of Thalayad. Although complaints have been raised with various service providers, no steps have been taken so far to address the situation.
