Vadakara: A power line that has come into contact with a tree branch on the premises of Arakkilad JB School at Kulangarath has become a serious safety concern.

The tree branch fell onto the power line, which consists of five metal wires. If these wires were to snap, they could bring down nearby power poles and lines in the vicinity, potentially causing a major accident. The situation also poses a threat to the pathway leading to the school and the pedestrian walkway connecting to the National Highway.

Local residents have lodged a complaint with the KSEB office, urging immediate action. The school headmaster has also submitted a request to the KSEB to remove the hazardous tree branch.
