Munnar: A herd of wild elephants caused widespread havoc at a LP school under the Nyamakad East Division in Munnar on Saturday night. According to reports, three elephants entered the premises and demolished parts of the school building.
The attack left the teachers’ quarters, store room, kitchen, and a nearby shed heavily damaged. Food supplies stored for the students' midday meals were consumed by the elephants, while doors, windows, and kitchen equipment, including a gas stove and utensils, were destroyed.
