Idukki: A snake was spotted inside the chamber of Fourth Additional District Judge Laijumol Sherif at the Idukki District Court on Friday, the second such incident in a week.

The reptile was seen near the wash basin around 11 am, minutes before court proceedings. Officials from the Forest Department arrived and captured it safely. On August 22, a larger snake had been found climbing the wall of the Third Additional District Court. The repeated intrusions have left staff concerned.
