Anthikad: Chazhoor native Sajitha (45) was arrested by Anthikad police for illegally selling lottery online. The police stated that they found several illegal lottery groups with hundreds of members on Sajitha’s WhatsApp and that she was the admin of many such groups.

She also oversaw huge financial deals. Meanwhile, the police had seized the accused's mobile phone and three bank passbooks. The police said that they have tightened their investigation to unearth several details about such illegal lottery sales.

The police team, comprising Inspector AS Sarin, SI M Afsal, senior CPOs Krishnakumar, Ratheendran Muthamparambil, Tessy and Ashif had nabbed the culprit.
