Kozhikode: Koduvally MLA and Muslim League leader Dr MK Muneer suffered a cardiac arrest and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city. His condition remains critical, and he is showing positive responses to treatment, according to a medical bulletin.

He was diagnosed with hypokalaemia, a condition caused by low potassium levels, and he has also been experiencing lower gastrointestinal symptoms. He is being treated in the hospital's critical care unit under close medical supervision. He was admitted on Tuesday.
