Bengaluru philanthropist flies to Kochi to rescue crow trapped in tree

Perumpadappu: Philanthropist Mukesh Jain came all the way from Bengaluru to rescue a crow trapped in a tree. The bird was caught in a nylon kite string about 30 feet above the ground on a large tree near the Perumpadappu–Kumbalangi bridge.
Mukesh did not hesitate to catch the next flight to Kochi when local residents informed him about the situation. He collected the necessary equipment from his house before heading to the spot with his associates, M M Salim and V A Ansar. M S Rajesh Kumar and K K Sathyapalan, who first alerted Mukesh about the crow, also joined the rescue.
Mukesh, who has been rescuing birds since 2007, has so far saved more than 6,000 birds from various precarious situations.
