Thottilpalam: Amballoor Unni, a Kozhikode native, was arrested by the police in connection with illegal firearms manufacturing carried out next to a house in Kunduthodu. He was remanded by the Nadapuram Magistrate.

During a search conducted by Thottilpalam police at Amballoor Babu's house in Kunduthodu, illegal firearms manufacturing was discovered.

Three country-made guns and manufacturing materials, including a hammer, knife, and sword, were recovered from the house and the adjacent workshop.

Two completed firearms and one firearm under construction were seized by the police team led by SI M Noushad during the search. Police have received information indicating the involvement of more accused persons in the illegal firearms manufacturing.

The police stated that the accused would be taken into custody for further questioning and evidence collection.
