Kollam: Three people died and another injured after two bikes collided at Kottakkara- Ambalathumkala on Monday. The deceased were identified as Sanjay (23) from Palakkad, Vigil (27) from Kalluvathukkal and Ajith (28) of Attingal. 

The incident took place around 1.30 pm when the two men who had come to attend a wedding in Nileswaram collided with a bike from the opposite direction. Two men died on the way to the hospital, while Akshay, a Palakkad native, sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment.
