Kottarakkara: A three-year-old boy met a tragic end after accidentally falling into a well at Ummanoor on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Dilin Baiju, son of Baiju and Ammu.

The accident occurred while Dilin was playing. He had gone near the well when no one was around. The parapet wall of the well was low, and it is suspected that he slipped and fell while peering inside.

No one witnessed the accident. The family realised what had happened when the child went missing, and a search led to the well. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
