Thenjipalam: The students of Chelembra NNM Higher Secondary School were excited to learn interesting trivia, current affairs and general knowledge as the school became the venue for Brainbow, a quiz program hosted by noted quiz master GS Pradeep.

The mega quiz program which was conducted for 156 high school and higher secondary students selected from various schools across the state was held as part of the school’s golden jubilee celebrations.

The team comprising B Niranjan of Chelembra NNM Higher Secondary School and AS Ansaf Aman of Wayanad Perikkalloor GHS School won the first prize. Meanwhile, AS Aseem Ishan (Perikkalloor GHSS) – Muhammad Nabeel (Chemmad CH Senior Secondary Institution) and Fathima Misha (Ramanattukara SPB HSS) – Pranav S Nair (Kuttipuram MES Campus School) won the second and third places respectively. 

The event was inaugurated by M Narayanan, manager of Chelembra Devakiamma Memorial educational institutions. PTA president P Abdul Rasheed and principal CE Deepak addressed the audience. Meanwhile, the valedictory function was inaugurated by Chelembra panchayat vice president KP Devadas and presided by M Narayanan. Head mistress RP Bindu and program committee convenor KT Shwetha Narayanan spoke at the closing ceremony.
