The remains were found scattered across the site during a search led by Gandhinagar SHO T Sreejith and Sub-Inspector N Jayaprakash, in the presence of Tehsildar S N Anil Kumar. Police Surgeon Dr K Rohit and a police scientific officer also visited the scene. Following an inquest, the bones and skull were taken to the morgue of the Medical College Hospital for further examination.
