Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Lottery Department’s Thiruvonam bumper lottery has already sold 75 lakh tickets to agents, with public sales continuing until 2 pm on Saturday, September 27, the day of the draw.

The special draw ceremony will take place at the Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram at 2 pm, inaugurated by Finance Minister K N Balagopal. MLAs Antony Raju, V S Prashanth, and Lottery Department Director Dr Nitin Premraj will also be present.

Palakkad recorded the highest sales with 14,07,100 tickets, followed by Thrissur with 9,37,400 tickets and Thiruvananthapuram with 8,75,900 tickets. Last year, a total of 71.40 lakh Thiruvonam bumper tickets were sold.
