Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has launched a statewide reels competition to spotlight unique achievements and innovative practices in schools across Kerala.

Titled ‘Ente School, Ente Abhimanam’ (My School, My Pride), the contest encourages students to create engaging short-form videos (reels) showcasing their school’s accomplishments, activities, academic models, and infrastructure utilisation. The initiative also aims to enhance the video production and storytelling skills of students in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools.

“All production roles, including anchoring and interviews, should be handled by students themselves under the guidance of KITE units,” said K Anvar Sadath, CEO of KITE, highlighting the hands-on learning aspect of the competition.

KITE will select 100 best reels, each winning ₹5,000, and the top entries will be broadcast on the KITE-Victers Channel. A special jury will evaluate all submissions.
