Kozhikode: The students of Bathery Noolpuzha Sreejaya LP School shouted ‘ocean’ in excitement when Kozhikode Mayor Beena Philip asked them what they liked the most in the city. They also spoke about seeing the stars at the Planetarium, travelling in a train and even spotting migratory birds, to the Mayor. 

Meanwhile, the Mayor, who is also a teacher, promised to organise a cruise ride for them during their next visit. The trip was arranged by Honey Museum Founder Usman Madari and the Calicut Blood Donors Forum. 

C Anil Kumar, Shahjahan Naduvattam, CPM Abdurahiman, Sindhu Simon, Saji Maikavu and Shaji Atholi took part in the program. 

The children were accompanied by headmistress O Shiny and teachers Seena Jasmine, B Babitha, KP Dhanya Krishnan, PV Vishnu Maya, P Sajina, KM Anjali, PTA president MR Ratheesh and MPTA president Malathi Ranjith.
