Kochi: Youngsters of yesteryear took a nostalgic ride on the Water Metro, accompanied by songs, poetry, and storytelling. The journey, organised by the Vyttila unit of Kanivu Palliative Care, ran from Vyttila Water Metro Station to Kakkanad as part of their Elder’s Day celebrations.

The event saw the participation of 65 people. Councillor Dipin Dileep of the Kochi City Corporation inaugurated the ride. Upon their arrival at Kakkanad, a warm reception was arranged by a team led by Santosh Kairali, Shafi, Subair, and all office bearers of the Vypari Vyvasayi Samiti, Chittethukara unit.

Kanivu volunteers Dr P V Joseph, P R Sathyan, M T Mahesh, Titus Koodarappilly, K R Seena Mol, Jeena, Geetha Baby, P B Valsalan, and Marin Payyappilly played a key role in leading the initiative.
