Thrissur: The Nedupuzha police on Monday arrested a contract employee of the Thrissur Corporation for attempting to rob a jewellery shop. The accused, Jinto (25) of Peramangalam, works in the Corporation’s electrical wing.

Police said Jinto broke open the lock of the Akkara jewellery shop around 4.15 am and forced his way into the store.
