Parappanangadi: Vehicles with ‘friend of police’ stickers pasted on its windshield have been spotted quite often in various parts of the city.
The fake ‘friend of police’ sticker printed on red and blue background resembles the stickers on the official vehicles of the police department. Meanwhile, such fake stickers are mostly seen on cars.
The fake stickers are usually pasted on the windshield of the vehicles to mislead the public. SHO Vinod Valiyattoor urged the public to alert the authorities if vehicles with fake ‘friend of police’ stickers are spotted.
