Elavally: Manachal Children’s Park and Kayaking built by the panchayat for domestic visitors has been opened to the public. The park has been built using ₹50 lakh allotted by the tourism department and ₹35 lakh from the panchayat fund.

Panchayat president Jeofox said a play area for the kids, benches, cafeteria, washrooms, five kayaking boats, pedal boats in which four and two persons can sit and electric illuminations have been arranged in the park.

The Children’s Park and Kayaking was inaugurated online at 3 pm today by Minister PA Muhammad Riyas. Meanwhile, Murali Perunelli will preside over the event. 

The park will be open for the public from November 1 onwards. The ticket costs ₹20 per head while entry is free for children up to the age of five. The visitors can hire the kayaking and pedal boats for ₹100 for half an hour.
