President Droupadi Murmu’s helicopter got stuck on a freshly laid concrete helipad after landing at Pramadam in Pathanamthitta on Wednesday. The chopper was initially scheduled to land at Nilakkal, but following adverse weather conditions, the plan was changed. The police and Fire Force personnel later jointly pushed the helicopter out of the concrete.

From Pramadam, the President will travel to Sannidhanam in a convoy of five four-wheel-drive vehicles and an ambulance via the Swami Ayyappan Road and the traditional trekking path. Security has been tightened, and a convoy rehearsal was held earlier, according to Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) officials.
