‘Black Panther’ writer to join Manorama Hortus Literary Fest

Nnedi is among the internationally acclaimed authors participating in the Malayala Manorama Hortus Art and Literature Festival, scheduled from November 27 to 30 at Subhash Park in Kochi.
Along with Nnedi, Maria Reva and Natasha Brown, two other authors who represent the infinite magic of new generation writing are also expected to attend the programme.
US-based Nnedi, who is of Nigerian descent, wrote ‘Long live the king’, ‘Wakanda forever’ and ‘Shuri’ for the Black Panther series. She is also the author of comics such as ‘Le Guardia.’ She has written over 20 books, including ‘Who fears death’ (2010) and ‘Death of the author’ (2025).
Maria is the author of ‘Endling’ (2025), a novel with war and Ukraine as the background, which was included in the long list for this year’s Booker Prize. She is a Canadian writer of Ukrainian descent.
Natasha earned fame with ‘Assembly’, her first novel published in 2021. Her latest novel is ‘Universality’ (2025), which found a place on Booker’s preliminary list.
