The first set of results for Manorama Yuva–Hortus Malayalotsavam, Kerala’s largest campus literary competition, has been announced. 

Raheema Valad from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, won the first prize in the Malayalam poetry category, receiving a cash award of ₹30,000 and a certificate of merit.

Raheema Tasneem O (National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli) and Shafi Poovathingal (Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady) shared the second prize of ₹10,000 each.

Adish A S (National Institute of Technology, Kozhikode) and Chandu K S (Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam) shared the third prize of ₹7,500 each.

The winners were selected by a judging panel comprising poets Veerankutty, P Raman, and Lopamudra.

Results of the short story and screenplay competitions will be announced in the coming days.
