Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has approved the list of public holidays and those declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act for the year 2026. Maundy Thursday (Pesaha Vyazham) will also be included in the list of holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act.

For establishments governed by the Industrial Disputes Act, Kerala Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, Minimum Wages Act, and similar labour laws, only the holidays specified under the Kerala Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays) Act, 1958, will apply.

In addition, a holiday will be provided for all state government offices, including public sector undertakings operating in New Delhi on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 for Holi festival.
