Pattambi: Vishnu, who was a student of Sree Neelakanta Government Sanskrit College in Pattabi, had recently died after being hit by a train. He was one of the 44 students who got through the first round of selections to the college football team. His close friends who knew about Vishnu’s dream to become a famous football player were shocked by the news of his untimely demise.

The college football team decided to pay homage to the undying memories of their friend when they were playing a match for the selection trials. Meanwhile, Riyas Mukkoli, the chairman of Charka organisation had realised their wish and offered to sponsor the jersey that honoured Vishnu’s memories.
