Gudalur: Residents of Gudalur are facing mounting difficulties in accessing election-related services, as the Election Office near the Panchayat remains closed on most days.
Staff shortages have left voters unable to complete ID verification, make corrections, or avail other election-related services, forcing many to return without help.
With the elections fast approaching, many people have been visiting regularly, only to find no staff present. Frustrated residents have now demanded an inquiry into the continued absence of officials at the Election Office.
