IMD issues yellow alert for 5 Kerala districts on Wednesday

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a yellow alert for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki districts. On Thursday, Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam will remain under a yellow alert. Isolated heavy rainfall ranging between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm is expected in these districts.
