Alappuzha: Muddy, discoloured water flowed from taps in Thathampally on Wednesday morning, triggering concerns over the Kerala Water Authority’s (KWA) pipeline maintenance.
Officials suspect a possible rupture in an underground pipe that may have allowed mud to contaminate the supply. Similar complaints have been reported from the area in the past.
Despite lodging complaints with the KWA, no action has been taken so far, alleged Mathai Karikkampallil, President of the Thathampally Residents Association.
