Celebrated Malayalam novelists and short-story writers of all generations will take part in the Manorama Hortus art and literature festival to be held at Subhash Park in Kochi from November 27 to 30.

The glittering list of literary stalwarts includes T Padmanabhan, who creates short stories dripping with poetry; Anand, whose works take readers on long journeys across space and time; and C Radhakrishnan, a writer who has always stayed ahead of his era. Joining them is Hortus Festival Director N S Madhavan, known for blending letters with history and food, and M Mukundan, who invites readers into the world of his beloved Mahe, a former French territory nestled within Kerala.

Also on the list are Zacharia, whose stories have carried him from the village of Urulikunnam in Kottayam to the global literary stage, and Sethu, who reflects deeply on the retrogressive course of history. K R Meera brings sharp political insight to literature, Subhash Chandran continues his search for a prologue to man, and E Santhosh Kumar explores the true nature of the earth and humanity through his works.
