Thiruvananthapuram: An 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Monday following a clash linked to a dispute over a football match. Alan, who lived with his mother in a rented house in Thampanoor, was attacked near a school in Thycaud.

Police said the clash broke out between two groups after tensions from a football match between local clubs escalated. During the fight, Alan was stabbed in the chest. His friends rushed him to the hospital on a bike, but he could not be saved. The police have taken two individuals into custody in connection with the incident.
