Madhur: M R Yogeesh (BJP) of Madhur Shaila Nivas earns his livelihood as a carpenter and lives in a rented house. He is seeking people's mandate from the Madhur ward of Madhur Panchayat for the second time. He was previously elected as a Panchayat member from the same ward in 2015.
At that time, he managed both his responsibilities as a member and his job for 5 years. Yogeesh also supervised the carpentry work during the renovation of the Madhur Madanantheshwara Siddhivinayaka Temple.
It wasn't just supervision; Yogeesh was actively involved in all aspects of the renovation work. He believes that undertaking carpentry work holds as much responsibility as being a Panchayat member.
Carpentry is crucial for completing houses on schedule. If he is elected as a Panchayat member, he plans to arrange for workers and take on a supervisory role in his construction jobs. However, Yogeesh said that his income would decrease. His wife is Durgaparameshwari, and the couple have two daughters.
