Kottayam: The silver jubilee celebrations of the Melody Magic School of Music were marked by a rich musical evening here on Sunday.

Transporting music lovers into the enchanting world of Christmas melodies, the school’s junior choir presented ‘Stable by Starlight’. Accompanied by guitar, piano, drums and violin, the performances saw the students and alumni come together on stage.

Founded in 2000 with just one student, the school has developed into a major centre for music education, with over 300 students currently enrolled. It offers expert training in Western vocal music, guitar, piano, drums, violin and recorder. According to director Deepa Abraham, the Melody Magic School of Music is also an official partner of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), London.

Stephen D’Cruz, Kerala coordinator of ABRSM, presented prizes to students who excelled in music studies at the institution.
