Shoranur: Commuters on the Nilambur–Shoranur route have reason to cheer, with the Railways allowing a stop at Thuvvoor for the MEMU service on a trial basis.

The stop has been approved for both the night service from Shoranur to Nilambur and the early-morning service from Nilambur to Shoranur. Until now, passengers from Thuvvoor had to travel to Melattur or Vaniyambalam at night to board the MEMU.

The MEMU service leaving Shoranur at 8.35 PM reaches Vallapuzha at 8.49 PM, Kulukkallur at 8.54 PM, Cherukara at 9.01 PM, Angadippuram at 9.10 PM, Pattikkad at 9.17 PM, Melattur at 9.18 PM, Thuvvoor at 9.24 PM and Vaniyambalam at 9.4 PM, before arriving at Nilambur at 10.05 PM.

The early-morning MEMU service to Shoranur departs from Nilambur at 3.10 AM, stopping at Vaniyambalam at 3.22 AM, Thuvvoor at 3.30 AM and Angadippuram at 3.47 AM, before reaching Shoranur at 4.20 AM.
