Thiruvananthapuram: A 27-year-old man was injured on Thursday in Thoongampara when an airgun went off during an altercation. According to Kattakada police, the incident occurred after a disagreement between Ajith and his brother-in-law escalated into a scuffle.

Ajith sustained injuries to his shoulder and was immediately taken to the Government Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, where he is undergoing treatment. Police said the dispute stemmed from familial issues and that a case will be registered after recording the family’s statement.
