Mysterious underground sound triggers panic in East Pang in Malappuram

Kolathur: Residents of Ayyathaparambu in East Pang, under the Kuruva panchayat in Malappuram, were gripped by panic as a faint but unusual sound continued to emanate from beneath the ground.
Following complaints from locals, Kuruva panchayat president P Abdul Salam, secretary Vishnu Shashi, along with ward members and officials, visited the site to assess the situation.
Based on alerts received, officials from the Revenue Department and the Kerala Water Authority also arrived at the area and conducted inspections. Authorities said further examinations would be carried out to identify the source of the sound.
