Kollam: It is a journey powered by dreams and determination- 3,000 kilometres over 60 days, travelled entirely on bicycles. A team of four 22-year-old friends has set out from Ochira to Manali with the unique goal of turning their expedition into a zero-budget film.
The film will be released after the completion of the journey by Ananthu Ajay of Sarigama, Panayappalli, Paayikkuzhi near Ochira; Akhilesh of Komallath, Memana; Aslam of Kochukalickal, Memana; and Premchand of Puthenthara, Memana. Ananthu, Aslam and Premchand will also appear in the film.
The team is travelling on four bicycles and carrying essential equipment, including cameras, a laptop, a tripod and lights.
The film centres on the lives of young people who attempt to make a movie without a single rupee in hand. Real-life incidents and experiences encountered during the journey will be woven into the narrative. The plan is to cover around 60 kilometres a day while simultaneously shooting the film.
