Palakkad: Actor and production controller Kannan Pattambi passed away at 11.40 pm on Sunday, his brother Major Ravi said in a Facebook post. His funeral rites will be performed at their residence premises in Pattambi on Monday evening.

He had acted in movies such as Pulimurugan, Punaradhivasam, Anandabhadram, Odiyan, Keerthi Chakra, Vettam, Crazy Gopalan, Kandahar, Thantra, and 12th Man.

He was also the production controller on the movies directed by Major Ravi, Shaji Kailas, VK Prakash, Santosh Sivan, and others. Additionally, he had also worked as an executive producer. The actor has also played a role in the upcoming movie 'Rachel' directed by Anandhini Bala.
