WWE legend Hulk Hogan has died at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest, TMZ reported on Thursday.

Emergency medical crews were reportedly sent to the wrestler's residence in Clearwater, Florida, early on Thursday, with operators stating that the call was regarding a “cardiac arrest", according to the report.

The report also states that multiple police cars and EMT vehicles were seen outside Hogan's residence, and the wrestler was carried out on a stretcher and placed into an ambulance. However, no further details are currently available.

His demise comes weeks after his wife, Sky, denied rumours that the wrestler was in a coma, stating that Hogan recovered from surgeries and that his heart was in a strong condition, TMZ reported.
