New Delhi: As rain played spoilsport, the Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite Group B match between Kerala and Madhya Pradesh was abandoned without a ball being bowled at the Feroz Shah Kotla, here on Monday.
The points were shared between the teams as the match was called off after Kerala won the toss and opted to field against Madhya Pradesh.
After four matches, Kerala is in the second position with 10 points behind Delhi on net-run-rate while Madhya Paradesh bottoms the group with two points.
On Sunday, Jalaj Saxena's all-round performance helped Kerala outplay Chhattisgarh with a six-wicket win.
In their next match, Kerala will face Delhi on Friday while Madhya Pradesh will play Saurashtra.
