Jaipur: With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 fast approaching, the all-important player auction scheduled to be held here on Tuesday will see 346 players go under the hammer to fill the 70 remaining slots for the eight franchises.

A total of 226 Indians and 120 international players were shortlisted after the eight IPL franchises submitted their final list of players back on December 10 for the auction.

The IPL 2019 auction is expected to start at 2.30 pm.

After wielding the gavel over a decade, Richard Madley has been replaced by Hugh Edmeades as auctioneer.

The highest base price for the auction is Rs 2 crore and only nine players are in the top bracket. There are no Indians in the marquee list.

Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes, Lasith Malinga , Shaun Marsh, Sam Curran, Colin Ingram, Corey Anderson, Angelo Mathews and D’Arcy Short are slotted in the top bracket of Rs 2 crore.

The players available at Rs 1.5 crore reserve price: Alex Carey, James Faulkner, Alex Hales, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Dawson, Luke Wright, Jaydev Unadkat, Martin Guptill, Morne Morkel, Dale Steyn, Riley Rossouw.

Notable players available for Rs 1 crore reserve price: Moises Henriques, Usman Khawaja, Adam Zampa, Chris Jordan, Axar Patel, Mohammed Shami, Yuvraj Singh, Ishant Sharma, Wriddhiman Saha, Hashim Amla.
