Vijayawada: Chinaman bowler Sudhesan Midhun helped Kerala thrash Jammu & Kashmir by 94 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 Championships in their fourth Group A game at the Devineni Venkata Ramana Praneetha Ground, here on Wednesday.

Batting first, Kerala posted 159/7 with Vinoop Manoharan top-scoring with 52 off 42 balls.

In reply, Midhun spun a web around the Kashmir batsmen to bundle them out for just 65 in 14.2 overs and finished with figures of 3/9.

Vinoop and MD Nidheesh bagged two wicket a piece while Basil Thampi and Sandeep Warrier picked one each.

In their next match, Kerala lock horns with Nagaland on Thursday while Kashmir will play Manipur. Kerala now have 12 points from four games while Kashmir has 8.
