Krishna (Andhra Pradesh): Kerala outplayed Nagaland by 10 wickets to notch up their fourth win in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Twenty20 tournament here on Thursday.

Kerala, who chose to bowl, restricted Nagaland to 103/8 before romping home inside 13 overs without losing a single wicket in their Group A game. Kerala have 16 points from five matches and meet Jharkhand in their final group game on Saturday.

Medium-pacer M D Nidheesh was the most successful Kerala bowler with figures of 3/17. Rohit top-scored for Nagaland with an unbeaten 49. The opener hit a six and two boundaries in his 53-ball knock to take them past the 100-run mark.

Openers Vishnu Vinod (53 not out) and Rohan S Kunnummal (51 not out) smashed unbeaten half-centuries as Kerala chased down the target in 12.2 overs.

Brief scores: Nagaland 103/8 in 20 overs (Rohit 49 not out; M D Nidheesh 3/17, Basil Thampi 2/14, Vinoop Manoharan 2/23) lost to Kerala 105/0 in 12.2 overs (Vishnu Vinod 53 not out, Rohan S Kunnummal 51 not out).
