Thiruvananthapuram: Former Kerala state senior women's cricket team captain Sabina Jacob passed away here on Sunday.

Sabina represented Kerala from 1977 to 1981. She was also a member of the Kerala University team.

After her playing days, she served as Thiruvananthapuram District Cricket Association secretary and Kerala Women's Cricket Association secretary.

Sabina was also the state women's team selection committee chairperson for the past five years.
