India women have continued their domination in the Under-19 T20 World Cup, posting a second comfortable victory in Kuala Lumpur.

India crushed hosts Malaysia by 10 wickets after skittling them out for a paltry 31 runs. Debutant Vaishnavi Sharma bagged a fifer, including a hat trick. Vaishnavi bowled a maiden and claimed 5/5 from her four overs, while Aayushi Shukla claimed 3/8. Left-arm spinner Vaishnavi is the first India to bag a hat-trick in the Women's U-19 T20 World Cup.

Joshitha V J, who was India's player-of-the-match in the 9-wicket win over West Indies in the opener, claimed a wicket. Wayanad native Joshitha is the only Keralite in the team. Indian batters have needed just 7.1 overs to win both their group matches so far.

Openers G Trisha (27) and G Kamalini (4) chased down the simple target set by Malaysia in just 2.5 overs. India will play Sri Lanka in their third Group A match on Thursday (Jan 23).
