Pranavi hits fifty as Kerala crush J&K in Women’s T20

Pranavi Chandra scored a fifty as Kerala crushed Jammu & Kashmir by nine wickets in a Senior Women's T20 Trophy Elite match in Chandigarh on Wednesday.
Kerala chased down a target of 102 with 19 balls to spare, at the expense of just one wicket. Openers Shani T and Pranavi stitched a partnership of 93 runs. Shani remained unbeaten on 37 off 50, after Pranavi made 51 off 48, hitting three sixes and as many boundaries.
Earlier, experienced leg-spinner Asha S continued her stellar return to her home state by bagging 3/9 from four overs. Guest player Salonee Dangore bagged 2/26 to restrict J&K to 101/8. For J&K, opener Bawandeep Kaur top-scored with 34 runs.
Kerala have won three of their four matches in the competition, with a five-wicket loss to Baroda the only setback. Kerala defeated Vidarbha by six wickets and got the better of Bihar by 49 runs earlier.
