Kerala beat Saurashtra in second Super Over after last-ball tie in Women’s U-23 T20

Kerala edged Saurashtra in a thrilling second Super Over of a Women's Under-23 T20 Trophy Elite cricket match at Mulapadu in Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
The teams were tied on 114 runs at the end of their 20 overs, forcing a Super Over. Kerala made 10/1 and then tied again with Saurashtra, requiring a second tiebreaker. Niya Nazneen bowled a tidy over, giving away just three runs and taking a wicket. Kerala chased it down with a ball to spare.
Earlier, Saurashtra got off to a great start, with captain Umeshwari Jethva (55) and Shifa Shelat (34) adding 93 off 16.1 overs for the opening wicket. But Kerala kept it tight thereafter, with Sheethal V J bagging two wickets.
Kerala struggled in their response and were left reeling at 50/5 before Isabel and Vaishna M P (15) stitched up a 38-run stand. Isabel made 38 off 32 and fell in the penultimate ball of the innings, just a run away from levelling the tie. Sheethal was run out while trying for a match-winning second run.
