Five Kerala players will be up for selection in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 auction to be held in New Delhi on Thursday.
All-rounder Sajana Sajeevan, who won the WPL title with the Mumbai Indians last season, has a base price of ₹30 lakh. Star leg spinner Asha Sobhana, who missed out last season with a knee injury, is available for a base price of ₹30 lakh.
The costliest Kerala player in the auction list is all-rounder Minnu Mani, who recently led India-A against New Zealand in a World Cup warm-up match. The all-rounder's base price is ₹40 lakh. Minnu played three finals in a row with Delhi Capitals, finishing as runners-up each time.
Young pacer Joshitha V J and state captain Najla C M C are the other Kerala players who will participate in the auction. The duo has a base price of ₹10 lakh each.
The auction list includes 194 Indians, including 142 uncapped. Unlike in the previous seasons, the franchises held on to only a few players from last season and released the majority.
