India made a clean sweep of the five-match women's T20I series against Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur scored a half-century before the bowlers helped defend a total of 175/7, winning by 15 runs.

Kaur used six bowlers and all of them claimed a wicket each. By removing Nilakshika Silva, India's Deepti Sharma set a personal record.

Sharma has climbed to the top of the T20I wicket-takers' list with 152 scalps, surpassing Australia's Megan Schutt (151).

India were in danger of folding cheaply early on when they were reduced to 77/5 in 11 overs.
