KPL: Gokulam Kerala crush Kovalam FC, march into final

Wayanad: Gokulam Kerala advanced to the final of the Kerala Premier League with a convincing 4-0 aggregate win over Kovalam FC in the semifinals.

Having won the first leg 1-0, Gokulam showed no mercy and crushed Kovalam 3-0 in the second leg here on Thursday.

Captain Samuel Mensah Konney scored a brace while his fellow Ghanaian Kelvin Annang also contributed with a strike.

Gokulam Kerala will take on Kerala United in the final that will be played at Kalpetta on Sunday.

Result: Kovalam FC 0 lost to Gokulam Kerala 3 (Samuel Mensah 45+3, 67, Kelvin Annang 3)
